La Buena Vida Restaurant & Bar

Consistently ranking in TripAdvisor’s top three, it was important to create an online presence for this Riviera Maya hotspot that showcases changing lunch, dinner, and cocktail menus which staff can regularly update on their own, as well as a lively Instagram feed where visitors can hashtag and join in the festivities. Our custom WordPress website design was a great fit, and also offers a slideshow where the owners can continue adding vibrant photography of the restaurant to their homepage.
Our colorful design showcases La Buena Vida’s prime beachfront location and indoor/outdoor nightlife in the peaceful vacation town of Akumal, near Tulum. Visiting the property is memorable not only for the delicious food and drinks, but also for its unique touches–fossils and dia de los muertos candlelight altars, a sea serpent chandelier, rope swings at the bar, and beachfront miradors to climb for starlight views and buckets of margaritas in the trees. In our website for the restaurant, we call attention to these details through both the graphics and imagery, and incorporate the bright, tropical palette of La Buena Vida’s interior and lighting. The bar’s unique Day of the Dead theme is presented through subtly animated flag graphics at the top of the page, and details like skeletal martini drinkers and fish, and a bare-bones dog with a parasol, appearing throughout the site.
