Our website design for Akumal Dive Adventures focuses on lush tropical photography and rich underwater video of the location and activities. This beautiful vacation destination business leads scuba, PADI certification, snorkeling, and deep sea fishing excursions in the world’s second-largest barrier reef, caves, and cenotes.

A custom WordPress site, our design features a responsive background image of the shop’s home in Half Moon Bay; interactive rollover tiles with descriptions of each service; embedded footage of dive sessions at the reef including rays, fish, coral, and the area’s famous sea turtles; and a footer incorporating quick booking and contact information and social media links. The sidebar of each page features “Scuba Grams” (a live feed of the shop’s Instagram shots), recommendations of nearby restaurants offering dinner packages for fishermen using their own fresh catch, and accommodation deals for divers. Thanks to the WordPress CMS, the website design also allows staff to easily update their own text, images, and offerings so they can focus on what’s important—the beach!
