GVG Contemporary’s website design showcases the story of this art gallery, which specializes in painting, sculpture, fine art furniture, and artist-made jewelry on historic Canyon Road in Santa Fe, owned by husband-and-wife local artist team Ernst Gruler and Blair Vaughn-Gruler. Our custom WordPress site is clean and modern, with simple bold black-and-white graphics and use of negative space to keep the focus on the artwork.
Features include a changing slider on the homepage, linking to each portfolio; a drop-down menu showcasing representative thumbnails of work; image grids of installations in the gallery and client homes; a page of press clippings and media coverage; keyword search function; and lightbox galleries for the artists. Biographies, portfolios, slides, and imagery are easy for staff to update in-house, and social media and a Google map are integrated onto the homepage for user-friendly information.
